Course duration: – Five days (40Hours)
Pre-requisites - Participants should possess a valid Water Sports Operator/Open Water Lifeguard Proficiency Certificate. As it is mandatory, trainees will therefore have to undergo both - the Water Sports Operator Lifeguard Proficiency course and the Parasail Boat Operator course, which can be conducted consecutively. It is mandatory for a parasail boat operator to possess a valid Power Boat Operator (Remote Control) certification. Preferably, parasail boat operators should have a minimum of 30 logged takeoffs/landings experience.
Eligibility - Participants should be able to swim 300 metres non-stop. The first 100 metres should be covered using front crawl, the next 100 metres using breaststroke and the last 100 metres can include a combination of both or either strokes.
Certification Criteria
Participants should be able to successfully demonstrate skills mandated in the Level-3 Parasail Boat operating modules at the end of the course.
Certificates
Successful candidates will be awarded proficiency certificates by SRTA. The certificates are valid for a period of 2 years. The certification will be revalidated directly upon successful completion of Water Sports Operator Lifeguard Revalidation when due.
